Professor of Music and Music Education at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, Mexico, and President-Elect of the International Society for Music Education (ISME 2022-2024). From 2012 to 2016, she was a member of the ISME Board of Directors. Prof. González also chaired the ISME Advocacy Standing Committee (2012-2014) and the ISME Research Commission (2018-2020). She has been awarded the distinction as National Researcher by the National Council of Science and Technology (2013-2024). Her research work and publications have focused on the areas of educational and music psychology, motivation and creativity, music for social inclusion, music curriculum, and teacher professional development.

Meksika, Autonomous University of Chihuahua’da Müzik ve Müzik Eğitimi Profesörü ve Uluslararası Müzik Eğitimi Derneği’nin (ISME 2022-2024) Seçilmiş Başkanı’dır. 2012-2016 yılları arasında ISME Yönetim Kurulu üyeliği yaptı. Prof. González ayrıca ISME Savunuculuk Daimi Komitesine (2012-2014) ve ISME Araştırma Komisyonuna (2018-2020) başkanlık etti. Ulusal Bilim ve Teknoloji Konseyi (2013-2024) tarafından Ulusal Araştırmacı unvanı ile ödüllendirilmiştir. Araştırma çalışmaları ve yayınları, eğitim ve müzik psikolojisi, motivasyon ve yaratıcılık, sosyal katılım için müzik, müzik müfredatı ve öğretmen mesleki gelişimi alanlarına odaklanmıştır.
